Robert Charbonnet

Robert was born and raised in New Orleans and his interest in photography started at a young age where he found himself with a camera always in hand.

His interest in beauty started early on from his Mother’s involvement in cosmetics and skin care but really took hold when he first moved to London.

Shortly after meeting his soon to be wife, on a whim, they packed up and moved to London where he spent the next 10 years. There, his main aim was on shooting beauty in all forms but he became more known for shooting precise hair and naturally flawless skin. A very technically trained photographer, he still aims at keeping personality alive in his images. 

His advertising clients have included international brands such as Pantene, Clairol, Dior, The Row, Harrods, Target, L’Oreal, P&G, Ponds, MaxFactor, Sedal, Unilever and many more. He has shot editorially for UK Vogue, Elle, Harpers Bazzar, Author Magazine, Volt and others.  

In 2014 he and his wife relocated to NYC where they now call home.
